Interlude

Tonight, dear friends, we continue with our experiment with writing prompts. Randy, Heather, and I will be taking turns presenting these imagination sparklers over the course of the next few months. For my turn at bat, I decided to keep in my end of the pool and present some fantasy prompts. A quick search on the Google yielded hundreds of these things in this genre alone. I have chosen three that piqued my interest and presented them below. In addition, to get the ball rolling, I will pick one of them to write a short blurb about. So please, get out your various writing implements of destruction and enjoy!

Even through the tint of his sunglasses, Jack could still see the auras around the people he passed on the street. Some were brighter than others, of course, depending on the relative saintliness of the individual. He smiled a bit at that thought. It was all relative, really, being more to do with how the person thought of themselves than how they really were.

A woman in bright pink from her trainers to her Underarmor top jogged by oblivious to all but her wireless earbuds which were also pink. The flare of her light threatened to overwhelm the limits of his tolerance. He ducked to the edge of the sidewalk beneath the canopy of an aged oak. The shade calmed him as his shadows spread outward. Jack preferred the night, but Gwen had asked to see him.

That's all for now, my friends. Until next time....
